This piece imagines Guru Rinpoche at Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 sacred temples built by King Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century to anchor the Dharma across the Himalayas.
Through the centuries, saints and masters expanded this temple, and Guru Rinpoche himself is believed to have hidden sacred treasures here—teachings and relics meant to be revealed only when the world needed them most.
This painting is my attempt to capture that timeless presence: a brief glimpse of the sacred, illuminated through colour and imagination.
